Miquel y Costas & Miquel S.A. has a long history. The enterprise started when two brothers turned their family paper business, in operation since 1725, into a company. Since then, they have grown into thirteen subsidiaries and associated companies. Global exports of the main line of business is fine and specialty lightweight papers.
From the many years of experience, Miquel y Costas Group has become a worldwide leader and top Spanish Manufacturer. This is in the areas of cigarette papers, rolling papers, printing papers, specialty papers and textile pulps.
During the rollout of their MES Solution, Miquel y Costas & Miquel searched for a fitting trim optimization solution. The team chose TRIM SUITE from T.CON because of the high level of functionality and integration into SAP. The project started in January 2021 with a technical go-live at the end of February. Start of productive use was a week later. At the Clariana site, as a TRIM SUITE customer they use TRIM SUITE’s Roll and sheet optimization.
After the first go live, the process will continue. The Miquel y Costas Group sites Mislata and La Pobla are going to install TRIM SUITE next.
