Our customers come from many areas of the manufacturing industry all over the world. They all trust in our professional competence and the awareness that we create maximum advantages and benefits for them. Our track record in the mill industry is substantial. We have delivered profound value by digitalizing processes for manufacturers of paper, film, corrugated board or nonwovens utilizing SAP software as a foundation for value creation. All customers are united by their trust in our competence and the experience that we create tangible benefits and advantages. The list of our references confirms our successful work. And that, with all modesty, is something we are proud of.
Production key figures at a glance
delfortgroup AG optimized their production processes across the company with the implementation of T.CON’s MES CAT Suite. Production workflows could have been improved and are even more efficient now. The software is integrated seamlessly into the central SAP ERP system. A detailed analysis of latest key figures in production is possible at any time with the smooth exchange of data between all applications. At the same time SAP production orders are immediately sent to every machine so that there is no delay and production can be started. Our MES solution is installed locally; this increases the availability of machines.
Koehler is ready for Industry 4.0
Koehler implemented MES CAT all over the company and created an integrated solution for their production data acquisition. Production orders and any other goods movements are confirmed in real time and can be analysed immediately. In the context of Industry 4.0, they are working on follow-up projects in order to digitalise production more and more. All relevant machine data are analysed in real time in MES CAT and help production staff make decisions on solid figures. Even during production, production staff can intervene if necessary with the focus on reducing optimization times. With the application “Predictive Quality”, production can be run in compliance with quality specifications. Quality can be improved and scrap quantities reduced because all specifications can easily be checked and monitored.
More transparent production processes and cost analyses across all production steps
Due to the diversity of the products manufactured, the production area at Rapunzel is characterized by many different processes. A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) should digitally map this part of the value creation. Controlling could thus also work with data from production in SAP. Production and logistics processes could be further optimized. "We had the goal of making our production processes more transparent and enabling cost analyses across all production steps," says Roth.
Steinbeis Papier is one of the leading manufacturers in the paper recycling industry in Europe. For many years, they have been using SAP ERP and SAP APO for their supply chain. In 2015, T.CON’s TRIM SUITE was integrated and replaced the outdated solutions for trim optimization and an external MES system. In 2015, T.CON’s TRIM SUITE was integrated and replaced the outdated solutions for trim optimization and an external MES system. TRIM SUITE is integrated as useful heuristics in the APO Detailed Scheduling. Cutting plans are seamlessly sent to the MES CAT system for starting production. Without any external interfaces, the full order-to-cash process can be done with standard applications by SAP and T.CON, based on 100 percent SAP technology.
Almost three centuries ago, in 1725, a family in Spain produced paper by hand. Today Miquel y Costas & Miquel is a global paper manufacturer, specialised in lightweight and fine papers. As the years went on and the company grew, Miquel y Costas & Miquel saw a need to find a new trim solution, which matched their requirements and growth. They decided for T.CON’s trim optimization solution TRIM SUITE, since it best tackles the additional complexity in terms of product variety in their plants. Above all, the aspects that impressed them the most were: Ability to trim sheet, reams and reels at the same time, stock management of reels, in-house and external cutting, customizability and integration in SAP. The project implementation took place entirely remotely and was a complete success.
Using TRIM SUITE by SAP Gold Partner T.CON, Perlen Packaging integrates its cutting plans in SAP S/4HANA. This means the company is benefiting from an IT-supported, efficient and transparent system, fully coordinated with T.CON's SAP-based MES CAT suite. The result: the pharmaceutical blister packaging manufacturer is increasing productivity in its plants and reducing technical waste and material costs.
“The core objectives of our growth-oriented corporate strategy include continuous optimization of our business processes, optimum capacity utilization in our plants, and a steady reduction in costs”, explains René Kuhn, Head of IT at Perlen Packaging.
With an integrated SAP environment comprising SAP ERP, SAP APO and T.CON’s SAP-based MES CAT suite, the Koehler Paper Group now has the ideal setup for digitally networked, transparent processes – which means: better efficiency and productivity. At the same time, the specialized paper manufacturer has established a foundation for Industry 4.0 scenarios.
MES CAT SUITE at Greiner Packaging – a plant-independent overview of production data and figures. When Greiner Packaging rolled out T.CON‘s MES CAT SUITE, it laid an important foundation for new optimization potential and more sustainability in production. The MES, which is integrated seamlessly into Greiner Packaging’s SAP landscape, generates standardized data across plants which Greiner can use to monitor and evaluate machine performance and production processes.
delfort successfully implemented TRIM SUITE in its Czech paper mill. The application is integrated in SAP ERP and completely IT-supported. A winning team: TRIM SUITE and MES CAT make cutting processes on paper machines more efficient and transparent. This increases the productivity and saves time and money.
With more than 30 companies in 16 countries, Mayer-Kuvert-network is the largest European enterprise in the envelope industry. The old SAP ERP ECC 6.0-based system landscape was upgraded to SAP S/4HANA 1809. After the transition, numerous SAP modules (FI/CO/MM/WM/SD/LE/PP/QM) continued to work seamlessly, as did a third-party solution for variant configuration, integrated with the company’s new digital core. The project was awarded the "SAP Quality Award" in the "Fast Delivery" category by SAP Germany.
The Swiss-based Perlen Packaging group, a subsidiary of Chemie + Papier Holding AG (CPH), offers a comprehensive range of PVC mono films and coated PVdC barrier films for the pharmaceutical industry to customers worldwide. It is one of the three leading suppliers in this field worldwide. The system conversion from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA version 1709 was carried out in a single step and was completed within just seven months. This single-step approach was executed at all of the company’s global locations and it enabled significant time and cost savings with only one necessary downtime.
After a technical system conversion from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA (version 1909), Flottweg SE is well prepared for the future. The company can now implement rollouts, new process requirements and innovations based on the latest SAP technologies - a real added value. The project, which was largely carried out remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was completed thanks to the trusting cooperation with the IT partner T.CON GmbH & Co. KG. The project was completed in around six months and 20 percent below budget.
Reducing IT costs by consolidating IT infrastructure
Lohmann & Rauscher (L&R) is a leading international supplier of high-quality, forward looking medical devices and hygiene products. With SAP ERP they could consolidate their IT landscape. The whole group of companies now has uniform and transparent IT structures; all flows of data and values are standardized. Valid key figures are necessary indicators for the current situation, core processes are faster and more efficient. SAP can fully document and follow all processes at any time; raw material and all components of each product can be traced back. This transparency is necessary also to meet with the compliance guidelines e.g. of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other international regulations.
