By the seamless integration of SAP ERP with all shop floor confirmation tasks, these requirements were ideally solved for Perlen Converting.
T.CON GmbH delivered the recently released SAP ERP solution extension for Manufacturing Execution.
The commissioning of the system ran almost perfectly. The acceptance of the system by users was very good, no one missed the old system. It was important to prove that it is possible to perform a complex enterprise-wide MES implementation on time and without affecting the daily business.
Perlen Converting now runs a MES that provides the basis for production intelligence by content linking. New information can be generated and the attributes for simplified analysis are now available. This is not least the continuous improvement process (CIP) benefit and considers sufficiently the human factor of valid order confirmation in practice. Rapid access to current business indicators is made possible by the use of the Business Information Warehouse SAP BI.
